Feel as though you are never able to get something for nothing?  Well… today the team at Hanrahan Health offered their services at no cost to clients! Hanrahan Health run a “Clinic for Good” – a clinic that runs on a Saturday every 3 months. Team members all volunteer their time on a Saturday morning to provide speech pathology, occupational therapy and allied health assistant therapy sessions with no charges for clients!

One of the core values at Hanrahan Health is to make a difference everyday. One way the team at Hanrahan Health do this is to make a difference to those members of our community who are unable to access therapy services at our “Clinic for Good”.  Allied Health services can be challenging to access for our local children and adults for many reasons including financial reasons and long waiting lists. The “Clinic for Good” aims to help those clients access quality allied health services at least once every few months.

In 2021, we have helped over 85 clients at no charge at our clinics at Crookwell, Goulburn and Bowral. That is over $9,500 worth of therapy sessions at no charge to our clients.

But, it is not all about the clients. The team at Hanrahan Health report loving being able to volunteer their time to help the local community. Really making a difference to those in need. Volunteering is good for the soul. The clinic has a special feel to it, a real buzz. This buzz really helps our team to remember why we do what we do and inspires all of us to keep on trying to show kindness and compassion in everything we do. Spreading kindness. Making a difference. Helping our local community. That is what life is all about. That is our why.
